Welcome to our web page!
We hope the information here is clear and helpful to
you. We value any comments you would like to make and we
encourage you to make use of the resources available
here and through the links to other Christian sites.
If you are looking for a church in this community, we
want you to know that you are more than welcome to visit
us. Our service times are published here including any
special activities. If you are not familiar with the
rural Sinking Spring area, you should contact us for
directions—our campus is beautiful, but not easy to find
the first time. In fact, if you have any questions,
please feel free to email us, or give me a call at:
610-334-9866. I would be happy to talk with you.
Sincerely,
W. Sheldon "Shelley" Lee

Ephesians Sermon Series |
 |
Most of Paul's
letters were written to churches with pressing
problems that had to be addressed in his letters.
One of the exceptions is the letter to the church in
Rome (Romans), which was written to a church that
Paul did not know very well because he had never
been there, so he laid out his message in great
detail. It is wonderful and we actually studied that
two years ago.
The other exceptions include the letter to the
Ephesians (and it's sister book, Colossians). Paul
actually had been in Ephesus and most likely this
was a congregation he had preached to for about
three years. He was writing this church a reminder
of the things he had taught. It is amazingly concise
and powerfully written. We will be studying the book
in sections over the course of the 2008-2009 year.

"A Word from
Shelley" |
 |
Summer, at last! I know that a lot of
kids are happy about that—and a lot of
parents are gearing up for a vast quantity
of quality time with their kids! We have
some exciting things in store, especially the Teen
Mission Project to Appalachia. What a thrill to see
these young people working to make a difference in the
world for God. We will be commissioning them on June 7th
and they will be leaving a week later to serve in
Maytown, Kentucky. After they get back, we’ll have a
chance to hear and see what they did (we’ll let you know
which Sunday they’ll give that report).
