If you are looking for a church in this community, we want you to know that you are more than welcome to visit us. Our service times are published here including any special activities. A Word from Shelley

You are invited to see

To Save a Life

September 12 • 2 PM and 6:20 PM

Early this year, TO SAVE A LIFE opened in theaters nationwide. This independent film about teens and the choices they make in their daily lives quickly struck a chord with teens and families. Overnight, the film received a #1 Fandango Fan rating and maintained it for over a month. Critics and youth workers raved, families were changed, and viewers consistently commented: “Every teen and parent needs to see this film.”

Hillside Christian Church is hosting two special screenings of TO SAVE A LIFE on Sunday, September 12th. This event is available to all in our community. There will be a matinee at 2:00 PM and an evening showing at 6:30 PM. The church is located at 3322 E Galen Hall Rd, Reinholds (just off Fritztown Rd between Sinking Spring and Reinholds).

TO SAVE A LIFE is the story of all-American teen Jake Taylor, who seems to have it all. But after a childhood friend’s death, Jake’s world turns upside down, and he is forced to make a decision that could change his life forever. TO SAVE A LIFE is about making unexpected choices and sacrifices, while having the courage and determination to persevere against all odds.

At some point, every teen has to decide: "What's my life going to be about?" TO SAVE A LIFE dares to bring that question into their world, encouraging them to answer it with boldness, honesty and compassion.

We hope to challenge teens and build families through the conversations that this movie will inspire on your drive home. As another school year starts and families get into the rhythm of fall, we want to encourage families in our neighborhood to make this year better and we want to teach principles that will help you improve—and maybe even save—your family.

Mission Trip to South Dakota ~ Photos (See Below)

Thank you for your prayers for the mission project to South Dakota! The primary goal of footers,
floor and basement walls for the new addition to the main building of Diamond Willow Ministries was completed. All sorts of other jobs were done too for both the ministry and some folks from the community,
plus they met many people and worked with Christians from about 10 other churches to complete the task.
