We meet to worship God. We sing, we pray and we share in Communion each Sunday. However, our worship is not stuffy or formal, as we believe God wants a heart to heart fellowship with us as we worship. So, dress is informal, children are welcome and we have a beautiful nursery for babies.
We also want worship to be meaningful for kids, so in
addition to the nursery, we have childcare available for
preschoolers and we have a great program called "Kids
for Christ" that is held for children Kindergarten - 5th
grade opposite worship. Your kids will enjoy all kids of
games, songs, puppets, and activities aimed to help the
children learn about God and have a great time.
The Bible is the foundation for every message by the pastor. There are notes in the bulletin and on the screen, to make the truth clear. Each message relates God's Word to everyday life and the challenges you face.

Monday 8:00 PM - Prison Bible Study
A team from Hillside leads a Bible study in the
Pre-Release Center at
Berks County Prison each Monday night. We also work with
inmates in
other parts of the prison and we try to help Christian
inmates make a
successful transition into the community.
Mohnton • Tuesdays, 7:30 PM The
Life of Jesus Bible Study is moving from Jeff & Chris
Lebo’s home to Agnes Foscone’s home (138 Lakeview Dr) in
Mohnton. It will be in the same time slot and we will
continue the study. This overview of Christ’s life can
be joined any time, since each week pretty much stands
on its own. We are using a special Bible that shows the
gospels side by side—we have extra copies, so you can
use one of those, as well as your own Bible.
Wednesday, 8:30 AM - Men's Breakfast
Some of the guys from the church meet at the Red Plate
Diner each
Wednesday at 8:30 AM for breakfast. This is for
fellowship and
encouragement, and has served as a support group for
many of the guys
who have lost jobs, been laid off, or gone through life
crisis. We have
a good time, study the Bible for a about 15 minutes and
always end by
